A highlight of the Euroseeds Congress, the #InnovActionStage returned this year with a strong focus on seed production and processing technologies. Eight pioneering companies showcased solutions addressing critical challenges in seed production, quality analysis, cleaning, sorting and storage, leveraging innovations such as AI-driven phenotyping, imaging technologies, automation, and sustainable preservation systems.
The InnovActor 2025 Ceremony Award was the centerpiece of the event, with Phenolytics crowned the winner for its cutting-edge integration of 4D imaging and big data analytics, revolutionizing seed phenotyping and sorting. Runner-ups POLYFLY, recognized for its scalable hoverfly-based pollination service, and CGrain, specializing in high-precision imaging grain grading technology, also impressed the jury with their innovative contributions.
Moderated by Shawn Brook, Director of Seed World Group, the award ceremony was a platform for a lively discussion on the start-up journey of the innovators, welcoming also last year’s InnovActor 2024 Pernille Ollendorff Hede from Healthycrop.
The competition was proudly supported by Ernst & Young, reinforcing their commitment to fostering innovation across the agricultural sector.
