Euroseeds is recruiting a Manager Plant Breeding Innovation to join its General Secretariat in Brussels. The role focuses on leading the European seed sector’s work on innovative plant breeding methods and biotechnology, notably the implementation of the upcoming EU Regulation on New Genomic Techniques (NGTs).
The Manager will coordinate policy positions, manage the Plant Breeding Innovation Committee and working groups, represent Euroseeds towards EU institutions and international fora, and contribute to EU-funded research projects. The position requires a strong background in plant breeding and biotechnology (preferably a PhD), experience with gene editing/CRISPR, familiarity with EU regulatory and decision-making processes, and excellent communication skills in English.
