Federico Vittorio Pisani

Federico Pisani is an Italian national with a background in economics and international affairs. He holds a Master’s in International Affairs, Global Economic Affairs track, from Boston University, USA, and a BSc in Economics from Bocconi University, Milan, Italy.

He began his career as a researcher and teaching assistant at Boston University, focusing on development and health economics, before returning to Brussels to specialize in public policy, European, and international affairs. Since then, he has been actively engaged in public and industrial policies at both the national and European levels.

Before joining Euroseeds, Federico served as a Senior Government Affairs and Policy Specialist at Illumina, a global leader in DNA sequencing, genomics, agrigenomics, and multi-omics, where he focused on advocacy and policy engagement.

In March 2025, Federico joined Euroseeds, where he is responsible for developing and implementing international development cooperation projects within the seed industry, working closely with EU and international institutions as well as key agri-food stakeholders. Additionally, he oversees genetic resources within the organization.


He is fluent in English, Italian, and French.
